- Justin Bakse
- As a new media designer, programmer, and teacher, Justin’s primary interest is the intersection of the arts and technology. He holds a BFA in Interactive Media from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA in graphic design from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. Through his work, Justin has learned many different computer languages and has designed and built a variety of unique physical interfaces.
- In addition to his professional practice, he has taught New Media and special-topic classes at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Carleton College, and Pratt Institute. Proud to be a product of the midwest, Justin now lives and works in NYC, as principal of The Studio.
- Lisa Kitschenberg
- Originally from Essen, Germany, Lisa Kitschenberg is a graduate of the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Kunste Stuttgart. She was awarded a diploma in communications design and completed a professional course in editorial design.
- While at Pentagram, she has worked on identity and graphic projects including New York City Ballet, Columbia Records, Museum of Modern Art, The Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park, Ballet Tech, and School of Visual Arts.
- Maurice woods
- Maurice Woods graduated with honors from the University of Washington with a BFA and MFA in Visual Communication Design. He played basketball as an undergraduate and professionally worldwide for seven years after graduation while pursuing a parallel career as a freelance designer. In 2003, Maurice returned to the University of Washington as a graduate student, teaming up with the UW Graduate Opportunities and Minority Achievement Program (GOMAP) and the Visual Communication department to bring his design skills to the community, developing the Inneract Project, a program to teach inner city youth and the community about the power of graphic design.
- In 2003 and 2004, Maurice received the GOMAP Presidential Scholar Award. In 2005, he received the University of Washington School of Art Director's Award, which honors work by a student who demonstrates excellence in academics, community service, and other creative endeavors. His work has been exhibited at the African American Historical & Cultural Society Museum in San Francisco.
- In his professional career, Maurice has worked on various retail, exhibit and identity programs for clients such as Nike, Greyhound, Experience Music Project (EMP), Priceline.com, and the San Francisco Muni Transportation Association (SFMTA). Maurice has given lectures nationally and internationally, serves as Co-Chair of Education for the AIGA San Francisco and nationally as a Board of Advisor for the Diversity Archive and Exhibition. Currently, Maurice works as a senior designer at Pentagram Design, San Francisco.
